November 2012

Adam has the best furrowed brow.

For a whole day we had construction equipment tearing apart and repaving out street.  Eli set up the table and chairs outside so that he and Adam could watch while eating a snack.

Eli's cousin Hyrum posted a picture of himself dressed in a plastic bag on the Farnsworth family website.  Eli couldn't resist trying it out for himself.

I taught my last preschool lesson before we return from our Christmas vacation.  The first picture is of the boys during the guided play at the start of the day.  The lesson was about the arctic habitat, and we learned about igloos and went ice fishing for animals that you would find in the arctic.

We made a thankful turkey in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving.  Here is our turkey before we tore it down to make way for the Christmas tree.

Christmas!  Eli has been watching Miracle on 34th Street and singing Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town for months, so he is thrilled that Christmastime is finally here.

October 2012

We stepped out of our door one morning to find this beautiful sunrise.  I suppose Texas can be beautiful after all.

Eli's preschool went on a field trip to the veterinarian (or as Eli says it, the "petrinarian").  He wanted to wear his veterinarian dress up clothes,

Before going on a bike ride together, both Jake and Eli had to fix their tires.

Since the weather cooled down, Jake got the tent.  He and Eli slept in it together in the backyard.

Eli's preschool went on a field trip to the pumpkin patch.  This is a great site with jump houses, wooden cartoon cut-outs, and wooden vehicles for the kids to play in.

Two messy blueberry boys.

Helping daddy carve the pumpkin.

Cuddling on the couch in the morning.

We made this goblin cheese ball together for Eli's preschool Halloween party.
Adam couldn't fit in his 2T pirate costume, so we went with the dinosaur costume that we had in our dress up bin...thank you thrift store.

A little basketball for setting up for the ward Trunk-or-Treat.
