Eli and I got to visit the Fort Worth zoo twice within the last month. The first time we went with Jake during his Spring Break. We didn't take a ton of pictures, but here are a few from our trip.
Some friends of ours who were going on a field trip to the zoo for their preschool invited us along. I didn't have my camera with me, but one of my friends emailed these pictures to me.

Yow! That reptilian croc? alligator? was monster-like. Eli didn't seem fazed but Joanna's reflection in the first photo told it all. :o} We were very happy to realize (we think) that the other giant lizard type thing was a bronze statue. You know, the one ready to take a bite out of Eli.
Looks like a great place for Eli to visit.
Jo- you look absolutely radiant.
That prehistoric sized croc/mammoth/alligator/ is unbelievable. I love that Eli trusted the glass enough that he was more nervous about the parakeets (in the last video) than the reptile.
We didn't see the alligator. Gave me chills just looking at the picture.
Our blog is going to be private in a week. You can check my blog for details. I already have your email though.
